What if the shippers don’t want to deal with a million carriers and enjoy going thru a broker because it’s one contact and they make it easy to move their daily loads?
This one is really easy to answer. We’re working on opening our own brokerage to be able to take the burden of moving all their freight off their hands and into ours. This will make the shippers happy because they won’t have to spend a ton of money opening a whole shipping department and it should make our member carriers happy because this brokerage will be completely transparent and will only charge a standard 10% just to cover costs and that’s it. No lies, tricks, scams or robbery that brokers are notorious for!
What is the OOSCA fighting for?
OOSCA fights for respect and fair pay, including $5/mile with annual inflation raises, $150/hour detention pay, $150/extra stop pay, $1,500/day layover pay, $250 to come back if overweight, $500 to take rejected freight to a closest recycler and way more, but one of the most important things is to have a haul agreement directly between a shipper and a carrier with no broker involved. Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Though there are no refunds, you may cancel your membership at any time you choose to do so.
Should a members decide to cancel, they would lose:
- All the benefits the OOSCA has gained from fighting to make trucking a better industry
- All OOSCA benefits, including but not limited to our shipper partners’ loads & TransVertising contracts, will only be available to OOSCA members
- Founding Member Status with Custom ID Card, Member Number, Nickname & Discounts (should a member choose to rejoin in the future, they’ll be added as a Standard Member, get a standard basic ID with a new member number, have to pick a new nickname from what’s left available and lose all Founding Member Discounts & Perks)
- ClubHouse Membership & Club Access
- Any and all other benefits included in your membership, including your places in line for various opportunities and all future developments & programs
Is everything I spend with OOSCA fully and completely tax-deductible?
Absolutely! All Membership payments, Club payments & any and all other payments are being spent on a professional trucking organization, which, well, has to do with trucking, so everything you spend with OOSCA is a fully tax-deductible business expense
Should I even care about all these organizations always talking about a better trucking industry? I mean, what can OOSCA do to make any changes that haven’t already been tried and failed?!
First, that’s quitter talk! Secondly, we see your point and if you were to take a look at the results of all other efforts, it does look hopeless, but that’s only because everyone else isn’t doing it right. We’re different, but we know what you’re already thinking: everyone always says that and nothing ever changes. We’d be skeptical too based on everything I’ve seen so far. It’s a bunch of things like take a road trip to Washington or openly boycott your brokers just to lose the loads you were surviving off of, maybe barely but surviving. Or it’s the whole “we’re going to Washington to speak with so and so to push for broker transparency, but that’s just a waste of their time and your money. How will it help feed our kids if we know how much brokers are robbing us?! All the efforts currently in place are a whole bunch of time, money and effort wasted that ultimately go nowhere. Like I said, we’re different! What we’re proposing has not been tried because we’ve developed a strategic battle plan to get all our demands met and then some, and we know it works! The specific plans are reserved for our members, but I can tell you that we’re going to hit the shippers where it hurts them the most, their pocketbooks! What we have planned is guaranteed to work but it’ll take an army so we need your help! OOSCA has the plan that is sure to succeed, and a whole lot of other things cooking, and when you think about it, what’s a few bucks a month to show your support for an Alliance with the plan to create a better and way more profitable trucking industry for you and the rest of our members and trucking as a whole? When we grow in real numbers, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with and will be able to make real changes to our industry, without any risk to our members like the other boycotting efforts are known for. Those other “solutions” are unsustainable and will lead to your bankruptcy. If you join the OOSCA and show your support, I promise you, with enough members, we will be the ones to dictate terms to the shippers and brokers will be a thing of the past. If you believe that truckers are the most important link in the supply chain and want a better and way more profitable future in trucking, we hope you also have the courage to join OOSCA and get to WAR!
Will the OOSCA benefit all truckers?
Absolutely! First, let me say that we are only able to exist because of our members’ valued support and their dedication to our goal of a better trucking industry for truckers. Because of this, it is only fair that we fight for the benefit of our members to reap the rewards from our efforts, which will include higher pay and many other benefits listed in the Demands Document. Once our Alliance gains traction and we get what we’re fighting for, all drivers will want to join our Alliance if it means getting respect & the great rates that go along with it. Once this starts happening, the industry will catch on and, in order to have any drivers come to their facilities (even if they’re not OOSCA members for some strange reason), they will have to offer the same pay and respect that we demand, creating a fair trucking industry for all!

Why are there 5 levels of membership?
That’s because one size does not fit all. Ever try to fit a trucker into a small t-shirt? All jokes aside, some of our members only want to join the fight for a better trucking industry but already have too many friends and don’t want to better their lives or have more opportunities that the ClubHouse offers. Some members want to join the fight as well but are also excited to join a network of like-minded people to meet new people or significant other or potentially get in shape, or get some advise on how to fix their truck or any other of the many benefits we offer in our extensive ClubHouse selection. Finally, there are those of us who want this, that and the other, and then some more, meaning they want all the stuff mentioned above with even more clubs, but because they truly believe in the OOSCA mission and want to participate in everything OOSCA has to offer, we rolled out the red carpet and spared nothing. We want to truly honor them by providing as much as we possibly can, so we decided to include an Annual Destination Blitz GetAway – the ultimate annual vacation to get away from the norm and the annual blitz week. What does the Alliance & ClubHouse Membership include for $100?
It includes all the things mentioned in the Alliance Membership, but with access to our ClubHouse with 3 clubs of your choice included. The ClubHouse is a collection of all sorts of fun and supportive clubs for our members to enjoy but it takes a lot of time, money and effort to organize them all and their activities, and as we all know, if you get something for nothing, you won’t really appreciate it and most likely won’t even use it. We’re interested in members who are actually going to use our clubs and their benefits. Imagine you joined the ClubHouse and are looking to get in better shape or find a new friend, just to see that there are a thousand members in the club and nobody is interested in doing anything. That is not the type of environment we’re looking to create. If you really want to achieve something, you have to make an effort and by paying for the service, you’ll hopefully actually use it. We have lots and lots of clubs for our members to take advantage of, including getting healthier or support for quitting a bad habit; finding new like-minded friends or significant others; getting some advise on trucking or find out how to fix your truck or advise on running your business or any other benefits we offer in our ClubHouse. What does the Alliance & ClubHouse+ Membership include for $150?
It is very similar to the standard Alliance & ClubHouse Membership in that it comes with access to our ClubHouse, but it provides an added discount to our members who want to participate in even more clubs so it includes 6 clubs in total, which gives you a great value at $225. What does the Ambassador Membership include, and why is it free?

Do you or will you offer any membership discounts?
OOSCA is on a very important mission to save trucking so we need all the help we can get, and that comes in the form of our members’ contributions. Further, OOSCA offers a whole lot of value for our members and to ensure that they don’t feel taken advantage of with future discounts when they paid our standard price, we will not be offering sales or discounts. With that said, there is a way to get a full OOSCA membership completely free of charge, but it’s reserved for those of us who truly believe in our mission to save trucking and want to help spread the word. Why should I have to pay to be a part of the Trucker ClubHouse?
We all know that if we get something for nothing, we won’t really care about it or truly appreciate it and probably won’t even use it, right?! Beyond that, it takes a lot more time, money and effort to organize all the clubs and their activities. We’re looking for members who are actually interested in using our clubs and their benefits. Just imagine you joined a club and are looking to get in better shape or find a new friend just to see that there are a thousand members in the club and nobody is interested in doing anything. That is not the type of environment we’re looking to create. If you really want to achieve something, you have to make an effort and by paying for the service, you’ll hopefully actually use it. Why is the Coach Club part of the BetterMe Club but costs extra?
It is because in the BetterMe Club you’re communicating with and getting support from other members in the Club, while in the Coach Club you’re communicating with someone who will actively try to help you with your issues. It’s not only about the time it takes to communicate with the members, but also the time it takes to research the issues behind the scenes to be able to actively help as best as we possibly can. The Coach Club doesn’t cost extra to join and is, of course, completely optional. No one is required to use its services, as you can just enjoy everything the BetterMe Club has to offer and skip the Coach Club altogether if you should so choose, but if you’re serious about become the best version of yourself or just need help with certain issues in your life, we suggest you give it a try
What’s the difference between the Social Club and the BetterMe Club?
The Social Club is more about making new like-minded friends and having interesting discussions about the world or your lives or the things you may have in common, while the BetterMe Club, as the name suggests, is more about actively trying to become a better version of yourself thru community advise and support
What’s the difference between the BetterMe Club and the Coach Club?
Where the BetterMe Club is for members to communicate with other members of the club, The Coach Club is similar in a way that it’s purpose is to help members with their issues, but the difference lies in that it’s for members to speak directly with someone who will actually do research on the member’s issues and actively come up with solutions to help you become the best version of yourself, whether it be advise on life or love or anything else or to help you understand certain situations happening in your life and the reason for them, having someone to talk to or just vent to when you may have no one else for that or don’t want to be a burden to your loved ones, just having someone to just listen and/or to help you feel understood or be the motivator you need in your life to get to your next goal in life
Can I join the ClubHouse without being a member of the Alliance?
Unfortunately not. The whole point of everything we do comes down to helping truckers win the war against brokers and shippers to be able to make a fair wage to not only survive but to thrive and be able to feed our families.
